Nero Tondo Radish
Large 5-10cm, round roots with crisp white flesh and matt black skin. These radishes have a pungent, spicy flavour that mellows when cooked. Try tossing slices with olive oil or butter and sauté, braise or roast. Nero Tondo is more uniform and resistant to bolting than regular Black Spanish. It stores well and provides nutritious winter food.
