Macuzalito Dry Bean
Small, red dry beans are the result of a participatory plant-breeding program in the mountains of Honduras and they are named after the highest mountain in the region. Rebecca Ivanoff has been growing them out in Ontario for several years now and they are doing very well in our region. The plants are bush in habit and are covered with pods bearing very tasty small red beans which have a short cook time. Red beans and rice anyone?
