Chester Skunk Pole Bean
A great climbing dry bean for short season gardens. This beautiful heirloom bean was stewarded for centuries by the Hauenosaunee (Iroquois) people of the Finger Lakes region in New York. Productive vines can reach 3-4m so give them something to climb on. Black and white striped seeds are flat and sort of lima bean shaped. Plants will occasionally produce an all black seed. Dry beans cook quickly. AKA Flagg bean or Chester bean.
