Okra
Start seedlings indoors 4-5 weeks before planting out date. Germination is best when temperatures are in the 26-32˚C range. Sow seeds 1 cm deep, 3 to a cell or pot. Thin to the strongest seedling by cutting the remaining seedlings at the soil line with scissors. This will minimize root disturbance. Plant out after soil has warmed up in mid-June. Try not to disturb roots when planting out.
