Feeling adventurous?! Try growing this amazing monstrous gourd, said to be the world’s largest gourd with fruits that can finish at 60-100 lbs each! After the war, this gourd was used for candied peel for cakes and was a cash crop in British Columbia. After almost becoming extinct, this unique and fun gourd has made a come back. Even though this gourd is a heavy feeder, it is easy and carefree to grow once it gets going. Simply marvel as these incredibly large beauties develop in your garden or if you have time and space, why not try drying these gourds and crafting with them?
