Red Sails

One of the slowest to bolt of the red leaf lettuces. Red Sails retains its mild flavour with almost no bitterness well into summer. Bright green leaves overlain with burgundy are loose and rumply. Tip burn resistant. Ribs of full size plants may be too brittle for shipping. Recently off the PVP list of proprietary seeds. 29 days baby leaf, 55 days full size
