Milkweed - Common

Once found in nearly every field, ditch, and disturbed site, Common Milkweed numbers have been in dramatic decline in recent years. Common Milkweed is one of the easiest and fastest to establish of the Milkweeds, host plant of the monarch butterfly and an important nectar source for bees. Purple-pink flowers are incredibly fragrant too!
