Merlot

Crisp, deep purple leaf lettuce with an open upright habit. Wavy leaf edges provide loft. Resistant to downy mildew races 1-16 and good freeze tolerance. One of our favourites for winter greenhouse production. Very high in antioxidants. Very slow to bolt.
