Danvers 126
One of the sweetest carrots we have grown. Danvers carrots were selected in Danvers Massachusetts in the 1870’s and Danvers 126 is an improved strain that was selected in the 1940’s. Broad shouldered, tapered roots are on the short side at 18cm in length and do very well in heavier soils. Strong tops make nice bunches, are easy to pull and compete with weeds. Good storage and juicing carrot.
