This wonderful heirloom sweet pepper hails from Carmagnola, the city of the Italian pepper. Extremely productive plants produce large, slightly flattened fruits that are sweet and delicious. The thick walls and thin skins make for fabulous roasted peppers perfect for canning. Great shape and size for stuffing too. Red when ripe but the green fruits are also delicious. Rare and a new farm favourite Listed on Slow Food's Ark of Taste.
