Aunt Molly's Ground Cherry
Sweet little bursts of fruitiness. These little yellow fruits are about the size of marbles and taste of pineapple and banana with a hint of something else I can't figure out. They can be eaten fresh or dried like raisins for winter use. Harvest fruits when the papery husk dries and turns light brown and the fruits turn from green to soft yellow. Great in chutney, jam or salsa.
