Janet's Select Dutch Brown Dry Bean

Tasty beans are the essential ingredient in traditional Dutch brown bean soup. Heavy yields of rich, delicious, golden brown beans are borne on sturdy plants. Our original seed came from Janet Gleeson via her sister Yvonne. Janet has been growing and selecting this bean for many years. She started with plants that produced 3 - 4 seeds per pod and selected for 6 seeds per pod. We continue to select for 6 seeds per pod in our grow-outs to ensure heavy yields.
