Cour di Bue Albenga
This tomato is a complete charmer. Big, fat, dark red and delicious fruit weigh in around 400g. The pleated, teardrop-shaped tomatoes are said to resemble the shape of an ox heart hence the name Cour di Bue. The flavour is wonderful fresh and even better roasted. We ate it in salads, sauces and as a braising liquid for dried beans. Sturdy plants are vigorous and productive in our zone 5 fields. Hails from the north of Italy in the town of Albenga. Indeterminate.
