Switch Grass
One of the dominant grasses in the tall grass prairie. This Ontario native grass is used in pasture, for erosion control, in wildlife plantings and as an ornamental grass. The plants grow to 1-2 m. and produce sprays of airy seed heads in the fall. Perennial.
