Sweet Thai Asian Basil

Used in Thai and Vietnamese cooking this basil has a sweet spicy flavour with licorice and clove overtones. Ornamental plants have purple stems with large, bright green leaves and dark purple flowers that attract pollinators. Eat the leaves and the flowers. Compact plants grow to 45 cm and do very well in containers.
