Cosmos - Diablo
These brilliant orange cosmos seem to glow in the sunlight. They are super easy to grow and tolerate drought, low fertility and high temperatures. Hummingbirds, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators are drawn to their abundant nectar and pollen. Cut flowers or branches as buds are just starting to open and expect a vase life of 5-7 days. The cheerful orange petals are edible and can be sprinkled on salads, grain dishes or cakes to brighten them up and add nutrients. Plants reach 60-100cm in height and 50-60cm in width.
