Heart of the North

Compact plants pump out loads of small, egg shaped dark purple fruits all summer long. Tasty fruits are the perfect size for grilling on the BBQ or for individual stuffed eggplants. This is one of the earliest eggplants we have ever grown and comes to us from our friend Telsing Andrews who helped to select and stabilize it. Sturdy plants are great in containers and with their beautiful bright purple flowers they are a good fit for the flower garden as well as the veggie garden. A farm favourite. Rare
