Homeschooler Parsnip

Grown by our friend and fellow seedhead Evalisa who gardens at Root Cellar Gardnes in Thunder Bay Ontario. The original seed for this variety came from England. It was then grown and adapted by the homeschooled child of seed producers Jem and Meredith Klein in Northern California. Hence the name Homeschooler.  Ev acquired her seed for this great parsnip at a seed exchange in Oregon and has been growing it in her short season garden ever since where it has become adapted to cooler and drier conditions. Now you can grow it too.
