Marina di Chioggia
Delicious, sweet, dry orange flesh and beautiful grey-green warty skin. These Italian heirloom pumpkins are grown by the sea and used to make soup, gnocchi, lasagna and stuffed ravioli. They are so ornamental you may not want to eat them— but do, they are one of the best tasting winter squashes we have grown. The fruit are somewhat inconsistent in shape but most of them are turban shaped and all of them are beautiful. Average 2 fruit per plant. Great storage squash.
