Chioggia Guardsmark Beet

Improved version of the colourful candy-striped heirloom beet from Italy. Concentric rings of pink and white in a round, slightly flattened beet. This selection by the Alf Christianson Seed Company is more uniform and has improved tolerance to bolting to seed. Sweet and peppery flavour. Very showy and great for market.
