Abundant Bloomsdale Spinach

Deeply crinkled, succulent, dark green leaves have a very sweet flavour and are high in carotenoids. Abundant Bloomsdale is both disease resistant and slow to bolt. The original cross was made between the classic Bloomsdale crossed with a disease resistant variety called Evergreen. The offspring were selected further by a team of organic farmers in collaboration with plant breeder John Navazio and the Organic Seed Alliance (OSA). A portion of sales from this variety supports OSA’s breeding program.
