Italian heirloom tomato is used for sun dried tomatoes. Can be crushed for flakes or ground into powder to add rich tomato flavour to soups, salad dressings etc. Sturdy plants produce an abundance of 5 cm. red, oval tomatoes with a little point on the end. Dry in a low oven if the sun doesn't cooperate. Semi-determinate.
