Goldini 2 Zucchini

Finally a zucchini that has great flavour and texture even when large. We eat a lot of them at about 1 lb but still love the flavour of the 2-3 lb fruit. Outrageously fast-growing plants pump out bright yellow fruit that are great raw or cooked as summer squash and can be dried for use as a winter staple. Most dried squash is seriously lacking in the flavour department but not this one. Dried squash lasagna noodles anyone? Or crumble dried pieces into soups, stews and noodles all winter long.Bred by Carole Deppe for organic systems and in Carole's words to simply outgrow many pests, diseases and weeds.
