Little Gem

Adorable mini heads of romaine are perfect for 1 or 2 servings. Harvest when plants are 15cm tall and 10cm in diameter for a delightfully tasty and tender blanched heart. Outer leaves will be bright green and crisp. Compact plants are great in containers, even window boxes and can be planted tightly for intensive greenhouse production of mini heads. A gem of a little lettuce.
