Southwind Cucumber

Wow. We are really impressed with Southwind which was bred by Edmund Frost for resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew and bacterial wilt. The vigorous plants continue to pump out fruit long after other varieties have collapsed. Super crunchy, medium green, 20 cm fruits have great taste with no bitterness. We planted in late May and were still harvesting into September. If you’re tired of losing your cucumber crops to downy mildew this is the variety for you.
