When to Sow:
Start indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost or direct sow outdoors after frost danger has passed. Transplant once seedlings are strong and the soil has warmed.

How to Sow:
Sow seeds on the surface and press gently for good contact — light aids germination, so do not cover. Keep moist until seedlings emerge, usually in 7–14 days at 18–21 °C (65–70 °F).

Thinning & Spacing:
Transplant or thin to 25–30 cm (10–12") apart for branching plants and long stems.

Growing Conditions:
Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Tolerant of heat and light drought once established. Avoid overly rich soil, which can reduce bloom quality.

Care:
Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering. Harvest regularly for fresh or dried arrangements. For dried flowers, cut just as blooms begin to open and hang upside down in a dark, airy place.
